Sequera Solutions is a multifamily energy-efficiency consulting and project management company helping apartment owners, property management companies, and utility program partners identify, qualify for, coordinate, and manage energy-efficiency upgrades.
Our work focuses on property evaluation, utility incentive coordination, project planning, contractor coordination, resident communication, installation tracking, and closeout documentation. For scopes requiring licensed trade work - such as HVAC upgrades - Sequera Solutions coordinates with licensed contractors and qualified installation partners to complete the project properly. We are the consulting and project management partner; licensed contractors perform the regulated trade work.
Through our FreeStatUpgrade program, we also help qualifying multifamily properties access smart thermostat upgrade opportunities through participating utility energy-efficiency programs. Sequera Solutions is the durable parent company; FreeStatUpgrade is our thermostat program brand nested beneath it.

How we work
A methodical, transparent process
Every engagement follows the same six-step path: a property review, an onsite inspection, program approval, resident communication and scheduling, installation coordination with per-unit tracking, and final reporting. It's designed so an occupied-property project stays calm for residents and onsite staff while the documentation stays clean for program approval. See the full process.
On accuracy: energy-savings figures, incentive amounts, and program rules are verified against each utility's official current program and cited to their sources rather than estimated. Where licensed HVAC field work is required, it is performed by qualified, licensed contractors - we're transparent about who does what on every project.

Anthony Sequeraleads Sequera Solutions with hands-on experience across both the outreach and project-coordination sides of multifamily energy-efficiency work. That dual perspective is the company's foundation: knowing how to qualify communities and coordinate utility programs, and knowing what it actually takes to see upgrades through in hundreds of occupied units - coordinating contractors, residents, and onsite teams - without disruption.
